Goat Cheese Extra Matured


Extra matured goat cheese is prepared traditionally from fresh Dutch milk. After six months on the shelf to ripen, the taste of the extra matured goat cheese is optimal; the typical goat taste is at its best at this age. The cheese has a spicy bite but is certainly not hard or crumbly. It also does not have a strong goat taste due to its balanced recipe. This makes the cheese less sharp and easier to digest.

Goat cheese is made from goat milk and contains less lactose than cow milk cheese, is easily digestible and is full of healthy vitamins that you need. Goat cheese is whiter in colour than cheese made from cow’s milk. This is because goats convert all the carotene (containing orange colouring) from the feed into vitamin A. For this reason, goat cheese is very healthy. The goat cheese range consists of three age variants.
