Goat Cheese Young Matured


Young matured goat cheese is prepared traditionally from fresh Dutch milk. This cheese has undergone a maturation period of about eight weeks and is therefore deliciously creamy and full of flavour. Due to its mild taste, it is very suitable for the novice (goat) cheese eaters. This cheese could be eaten on a sandwich and is also a tasty and fresh seasoning in a salad.

Additional information

Goat cheese is made from goat milk and contains less lactose than cow milk cheese, is easily digestible and is full of healthy vitamins that you need. Goat cheese is whiter in colour than cheese made from cow’s milk. This is because goats convert all the carotene (containing orange colouring) from the feed into vitamin A. For this reason, goat cheese is very healthy. The goat cheese range consists of three age variants.
